Hi there!

My name is Schibsted and I´am a curious and innovative entrepreneur - with both feet on the ground. l always strive to rethink things with the intention to be and do better, not only for the Schibsted family, but also for the society we live in.

The Schibsted family consists of digital leading consumer brands and products such as Aftenposten, VG, FINN, Lendo, Let's Deal, Prisjakt - just to name a few. Schibsted's role as one of the largest digital service providers in the Nordics is more important than ever. We have a higher purpose with a strong societal mission, as a provider of news and reliable information, connecting people through our marketplaces and developing digital services for the future. We empower people in their daily lives.

We are now looking for students who want to join the Schibsted family for a few months and actively take part in our buddy program: Schibsted Connect!

What is Schibsted Connect?
Schibsted Connect is a mutual mentorship program connecting students with our employees. The idea is that both parties share experiences and knowledge and inspire each other to develop and get new perspectives. This is not the traditional mentorship program. We want both of you to take an active role and grow together - and that's why we call you buddies.

Through meetings and activities, you will share thoughts, ideas, and experiences. We see this as a win-win relationship for both parts; who are looking for inspiration and a broader network.

More specifically, the program looks like this:

  • Start in November 2020 and monthly meetings until June 2021
  • You and your Schibsted buddy will meet each other for the first time at the kickoff event in November (*digital event if Covid-19 restrictions continue)
  • During the programme it’s up to both of you to book the following meetings and decide on topics and activities.
  • We expect a minimum of six meetings during the programme.
  • End of program event June 2021

What's in it for you?

Who are you?

  • You are a student with 1-2 years left of your education, bachelor or masters.
  • You are studying for example economics, marketing, communication, journalism, design, data technology.
  • Your buddy is located in Oslo and to make it simple for you and your buddy to meet, you should be too.
  • In addition to the above, we are happy that you are innovative, driven and have a desire to rethink things.
  • We are also inspired by brave people who like to take risks and who feel comfortable with the fact that sometimes you will fail on the road to success, but who still do not give up.
  • Schibsted loves humble team players that see themselves as a part of something bigger instead of the center of it.
