Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a lead planner to join our stellar team in Skellefteå/Stockholm.

In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.

As Lead Planner, you will have ownership of the integrated planning and control for Northvolt Ett, the large-scale battery factory being built in Northern Sweden. This integrated Primavera planning is constituted of the key parts from all the detailed plans of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Automation & Process equipment; (Long lead equipment); Commissioning and ramp-up through to start of Operations. You will lead three planners within the program team and internally collaborate with two more from the construction team, as well as those in our contractors own organisations.

In general you have a long experience in the field and have been driving large, innovative and challenging industrial projects with high demands on time schedule.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Guide the planning team, setting the strategic planning direction to meet NV requirements.

  • Develop, manage and maintain overall integrated time plan for Northvolt Ett

  • Develop the necessary tools for progress measurement and reporting.

  • Produce necessary monthly, bi weekly and weekly reporting to monitor progress of Northvolt Ett

  • Run and manage scheduling coordination, both internally as well as externally with vendors

Skills & Requirements

Education/Experience

  • A Relevant University Degree (B.Sc. / M.Sc. or similar)
  • 10+ years as planner or project controls manager in demanding industrial environment
  • Experience in Primavera. MS Project and similar tools are a plus but not required
  • Preferably having worked in multi-cultural environment
  • Fluency in English
  • Valuable (but not required) if fluency in other languages (Japanese, Swedish, Chinese, French)
