F-Secure is world renowned for its End Point Protection solutions – providing preventative and proactive protection to tens of millions of computer and smart devices globally. Over the past few years, the company has successfully entered new markets and has increased its portfolio of solutions to include Cyber Consulting and Managed Detection and Response Solutions.

Our Managed Detection and Response (MDR) business provides a world leading managed service that detects and responds to cyber-attacks on behalf of our clients using a strong combination of people, process and technology. Much of the technology is designed and built in house by the F-secure engineering team specifically to support the managed service or as leveraged products that F-Secure also provides to the wider market.

MDR team compromises several sub teams: the threat hunting team who uncover adversaries on our client’s networks, incident responders who contain attacks, the research team who uncover new and emerging offensive and defensive techniques, and the Technical Operations team who maintain and develop the attack detection infrastructure to ensure it remains at the bleeding edge.

What we need…

We are currently looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager looking to take the next step in their career. Acting as a bridge between marketing and sales, the BDM would ensure the success of our business by feeding the pipeline with high quality, qualified opportunities.

As a Business Development Manager we would like you to:

  • Support the success of the North America sales team by owning the lead management and opportunity development process
  • Meet with prospects and determine overall fit and appropriateness for the F-Secure Countercept MDR solution
  • Be an expert on the evolving threat landscape relevant to our target market
  • Work with the US marketing team on MQL to SQL conversions
  • Enhance regional success Generate opportunities for the US sales team to pursue
  • Qualify all opportunities to improve pipeline strength

  • Our BDM will be a highly engaged and enthusiastic about the cybersecurity industry as a whole and Managed Detection and Response as a service
  • With an interest in becoming an industry expert, the BDM will be motivated by learning deep knowledge of the industry, the detection and response solution and the challenges our prospects face
  • Looking to advance their career as a specialist rather than generalist, the BDM is likely to be moving from a “transactional” sales process and looking to enhance their capabilities as a trusted adviser or consultative seller
  • Confident communication, presentation and interpersonal skills will be required
  • Tenacity, curiosity and intelligence are key to demonstrate you skills as a self-starter
  • 2-4 years experience in infosec sales would be beneficial to the successful candidate
