As a Senior Data Scientist / Engineer you will be part of our support team, responsible for overseeing data analytics activities from the design and implementation of the analytics stack & BI tooling all the way to providing actionable insights to the right people.

Your tasks include ensuring data quality & reliability and the collection, processing and availability of relevant data, creating high-quality analyses, insights and actionable dashboards based on the data as well as driving the company-wide KPI definition, reporting of the key metrics of the company, and tracking of the business’s performance at different fronts.

You will play a key role in establishing company and team specific goals and strategies in close collaboration with the management and product leads, and guiding teams in the prioritization of activities, initiatives and feature development and quantifying and tracking their progress against set KPIs. Additionally you will be guiding teams in the usage of predictive analysis methods for improving user experience.

Skills & Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think about data and business strategically.
  • Proven track record in providing useful insights from data leading to improvements in business performance.
  • Experienced in analysing a/b and multivariant experiments and conducting user behaviour, churn, retention and customer lifetime value analyses
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with Looker or similar tools (like Tableau, Periscope Data, Power BI or QlikSense).
  • Comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams and experience in reporting to and working with company top management.
  • Very good cross-functional understanding of the mobile app business.
  • Ability to build, develop and manage the analytics team and related competencies as the company grows.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in BI, business development, consulting, data and analytics or similar role preferably in a fast-paced and complex business setting in mobile application space and/or mobile gaming.

This position is full-time and based at the company’s global headquarters in Espoo, Finland.
