As we continue to expand through APAC, We are looking for highly ambitious and driven individuals to join our Client Acquisition Team to support this growth. Our Client acquisition team are the face of Meltwater, being the first point of contact for most of our stakeholders, they work closely with our current and prospective clients, to deliver strategic solutions to their media and social needs.

In this role you will be responsible for generating revenue through B2B sales, building relationships strategic sourcing, as well as guiding clients through the full sales cycle. Your breadth of knowledge and ability to adapt will be integral to your success as you work across a range of verticals and industries.

What will you be doing?

  • Achieving revenue targets and meeting individual and team KPIs in a fast-paced and competitive sales environment
  • Servicing, nurturing and developing new and existing client relationships through phone calls, meetings, and networking events
  • Understanding clients need and delivering personalized solutions
  • Bringing new clients into the business through various business development techniques
  • Own your entire sales process; from lead generation and value creation to negotiation and execution
  • Liaise closely with a mentor to ensure you are continuously developing
    Consult with companies on how they use news and social media data to inform strategy and decision making

A couple of things that will help you stand out;

  • Degree in Media, Comms, Business, Marketing (preferred, but not essential)
  • Full Working rights within Australia (Applicants on Working Holiday Visa’s will not be considered)
  • Desire to work in a target driven sales environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive and positive approach with a strong work ethic
  • Persistence, resilience, drive and a determination to succeed
  • The proven aptitude to form, manage and maintain client relationships
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, no challenge is too great, no task too small
  • Appreciation of Dad jokes and puns
