As a result of our rapid growth, Meltwater Australia is seeking experienced salespeople, hungry to make an impact in a new, dynamic role.

We will provide full training to get you up to speed on Meltwaters’ comprehensive product Suite, combining this with your existing skills so you can hit the ground running.

Success in this role will require the ability to quickly build and maintain networks, forge meaningful relationships.

Our clients span across a range of industries and verticals, adaptability will be key as you seek to understand each individual organization’s needs, goals, and climate, to provide a tailored software solution.

Collaboration will also be critical as you work closely with internal and external stakeholders, seeking to understand the individual client’s needs, goals, and ultimately deliver a tailored SaaS Solution.

You will be joining a pretty awesome bunch of like-minded people (even if they do say so themselves) They are passionate media consumers who make a point of keeping a finger on the pulse of current affairs and news, so they may better understand and advise their clients on Meltwaters media-focused software.

What will you be doing?

  • Own and drive client satisfaction with Meltwaters platform and service
  • Work closely with Account Managers to develop and maintain account success.
  • Strategically determine social SaaS value propositions and solutions for clients
  • Champion product knowledge by challenging the status quo across traditional and social channels
  • Achieving revenue targets and meeting individual and team KPIs
  • Servicing, nurturing and developing new and existing client relationships through phone calls, meetings, and networking events
  • Sourcing new clients through various business development techniques
  • Own your entire SaaS sales process; from lead generation and value creation to negotiation and execution
  • Guide clients through the full sales cycle and onboarding process

What we are looking for

  • Undergraduate degree with a strong academic background
  • Full working rights within Australia
  • Minimum 2+ years experience SaaS sales/ software sales environment or related industry experience
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed KPI’s and Targets
  • Experience guiding clients through the sales cycle, identifying their unique needs with a solution focus on their business
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to adjust and roll with the punches
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills

  • Prior success working with senior management and executive decision-makers
  • Invested in creating the right working environment; ‘Dad’ jokes and puns not mandatory, however, appreciated.
