Then the position as a Legal Counsel at Clio might be just what you are looking for!
As a Legal Counsel at Clio you will become part of our Finance and Legal department where you will be working closely with our GDPR -and Digital Rights Specialists. The department is characterized by an informal atmosphere and consists of outgoing and highly competent people who are champions of each their area of expertise while mastering the art of teamwork.
On an everyday basis you will be the one out of two Legal employees within Clio while working closely with clients and suppliers as well as our Tech and Commercial departments regarding legal matters and GDPR issues to ensure a high level of compliance and general support throughout Clio. This means that you will be advising and guiding all levels of the business on relevant legal matters – from first line employees to our CEO. In other words, this position requires the ability to navigate complexity.
Responsibilities may change and increase over time as business needs may change. However, you must have the following core qualifications:
While being open to your academic background, we imagine that you hold a master’s degree within Law (cand.jur.) or (cand.merc.jur). Furthermore, you might possess several years of experience within the field, but most importantly you are able to apply law and regulations while understanding the need for practical solutions.

As a person, you can see yourself fit the description of our Finance department, and you are able to navigate in an environment with a high level of autonomy and complexity while being able to explain legal matters in simple terms to colleagues at all levels of the organisation. We expect you to be proactive and solutions-oriented, and to take on a partnering mindset in your interactions with stakeholders. As this position operates at the intersection of Danish, Swedish, European and International Law, we expect you to be fluent in English and highly proficient in Danish (Swedish is an advantage, but not a requirement).
