Do you excel in administration and have a passion for films and TV series? Look no further - we are now looking for a Rights & Royalty Coordinator to join our Licensing Sales & Rights team!
Our film and TV rights are crucial to us – so our Licensing Sales & Rights team is at the heart of our business. They are responsible for handling all our rights, exploiting them as well as reporting royalty shares to our rights holders. The relationship with our partners and rights holders is key to us, therefore reporting and presenting sales and royalty information in an accurate and timely manner is essential. The team has been working hard on implementing a new royalty system and there will be a need to continue to develop internal processes and ways of working to have a continuous improvement within this area.
As our new Rights & Royalty Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing royalties and making sure that our rights holders are being compensated correctly. More specifically, you will:
Handle rights and royalty registrations in our rights and royalty management system
Analyze agreements in English and Swedish
Assist in royalty audits
Report to different producers and associations
Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
Be the main point of contact regarding royalty with producers and rights owners, both internal and external
The position is based in our Stockholm office, but this is a Nordic role where you will have stakeholders throughout our Nordic organization. The role reports to Head of Licensing Sales & Rights and is part of our business area “Distribution”.
Requirements To be successful in this role, we think you:
Have a university degree in finance or equivalent, or minimum three years of experience from finance, accounting or administration.
Are a top notch administrator.
If you have worked with royalties before that is highly meriting!
As a person, we believe you enjoy working in a team, yet are self-supporting in your own responsibility areas. You like to dig into problems and numbers and think it is important to be thorough. You also enjoy taking responsibility for keeping deadlines and reporting to external parties for the areas that you are responsible for. You should also, when there is a need, perform detailed investigations. As you will handle the contact with our rights holders – we expect you to be communicative and service-minded.
At SF Studios, you will work with highly engaged people with competencies ranging from film and TV production to finance, marketing and sales. We are diverse – but the one thing we all have in common is our passion for content. If you have a business mindset and a great interest in film and TV series – you will feel right at home!
If this sounds like a dream job for you – apply today! We will review applications ongoing.
