Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Digital Content Developer to join our growing team in Stockholm.

In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.

The Digital Content Developer will be responsible for creating world class digital content to support the development of a next generation industrial training program. You will be a member of the training team working side by side with our manufacturing teams to translate complex processes, machines, and ideas into 21st century content that anyone could understand.

No matter whether you have a background in education, a background in video and animation production, or something else entirely, your main skill is the ability to take complex ideas and translate them into simple, clear concepts, then roll up your sleeves and build incredible digital content to convey that message.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Imbedding alongside operators and technicians in the Manufacturing team to evaluate training needs and develop content plans.
  • Creating world class digital training content that could include videos, 2D Animations, 3D Animations, and More.
  • Owning all aspects of scripting, shooting, and editing video content for Internal training videos.
  • Ensuring that the content doesn't just look great but drives the business forward by building measurement strategies to evaluate effectiveness.

Skills & Requirements


  • 3+ years relevant experience
  • Advanced proficiency with video production
  • Experience in Learning and Development a plus
  • Experience in a video or animation studio a plus
  • 2D Animation, 3D Animation, or Graphic Design skills a plus
  • Curious, technically skilled and with a strong mind for influencing business outcomes
  • Experience and interest in manufacturing industry is a plus

Specific Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent English written and oral skills, Swedish is a plus
  • Able to simplify complex processes into clear, concise explanations or visuals
  • Highly organized and result-driven
  • An eye for detail
  • Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines, excellent time management

About the company

Northvolt was founded in 2016 with the mission to build the world’s greenest battery cell, with a minimal carbon footprint and the highest ambitions for recycling, to enable the European transition to renewable energy. Northvolt’s team of experts is building the next generation battery cell factory focused on process innovation, scale and vertical integration. Once completed, it will be Europe’s largest battery cell factory and produce 32 GWh worth of capacity annually.
