We are currently looking for a talented Solution Consultant is to support the F-Secure Countercept Commercial and Customer teams by acting as the bridge between the deep technical and the less technical functions of the business.

Job Duties ...

  • Support F-Secure MDR Business Managers (BMs) in a technical pre-sales capacity, in all the phases of our sales process, especially in Identify, Qualify, Develop and Quantify phases
  • Support the Customer Experience (CX) team in a post-sales capacity, working directly with existing customers to deliver service reviews and ensure they are getting value from the service
  • Stay current with the Cyber Security marketplace and aware of new developments, new regulations and trends, and convey this to clients and potential clients in the form of relevant insights
  • Keep abreast of competitors' offerings and work with the rest of the Solution Consulting fellows to develop best practices and tools to maximize our competitive differentiation
  • Keep abreast of MDR solution road map and forthcoming improvements and actively relay relevant information to clients
  • Gather customer technical requirements / details of environment for review and development of on-boarding strategy
  • Drive Proof-of-Concept/Proof-of-Value engagements with prospective clients
  • Work with Bid Management to coordinate responses to RFPs, RFIs, and creation of client-facing / internal documentation
  • Direct and coordinate cross-functional company resources required to support prospects needs based on potential revenue and strategic impact
  • Ensure what is sold can be delivered and can deliver real benefits to the client
  • Work with deployment teams to effect a smooth transition from pre-sales to delivery
  • Serve as a conduit of customer and prospect-related service requirements to Product Management for roadmap consideration
  • Attend conferences / events where appropriate

Who we think will be a great fit…

  • The Solution Consultant will be a technical expert of MDR services and will be responsible for articulating the concepts to customers and prospects at the appropriate level; and answer any technical questions that might arise.
  • Strong technical background, or natural ability to understand and articulate technical concepts relevant to cyber security, e.g. kill chain, MITRE Att@ck models
  • Ability to present to diverse, enterprise-class audiences ranging from C-Level Execs to IT/Security experts
  • Several years’ experience supporting the selling of solutions/professional services to enterprise clients with a good understanding of the commercial space, language used, power bases, procurement processes, etc.
  • Significant experience in a client facing role
  • Experience in sales environments including live product demonstrations, having intuitive grasp of selling techniques
  • Hands-on cyber security and/or penetration testing experience would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of Windows, Linux and Cloud platforms would be advantageous
  • The capability to present credibly in both business and technology contexts
  • Experience of (or at least exposure to) corporate risk management (in its own right or as part of project management)
  • A high degree of commercial acumen
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • The ability to be a quick learner, who is able to think on their feet
  • An ability to excel in fast paced environments
  • A strong educational background
