Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Document control assistant to join our stellar team in Stockholm.

The Northvolt Ett program team is responsible for delivering Northvolt Ett, the large-scale battery factory being built in Northern Sweden. The document control assistant will contribute to this by making sure that document are created, distributed, reviewed and approved in accordance with the procedures of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software Teamcenter.

In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in creating document deliverable lists for all relevant stakeholders.
  • Help process engineers in document upload, workflow set-up, and document revising, releasing, tracking in Teamcenter.
  • Actively assist all stakeholders in solving Teamcenter issues.
  • Assist in document format control for requested documentations from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in ad-hoc assignments/projects.

Skills & Requirements

Education/Experience

  • A degree within Business, Engineering, IT or similar relevant area
  • At least one-year experience of a similar position in a demanding and challenging environment.
  • Experience of Office 365, Sharepoint, Teamcenter.
  • Must have worked in multi-cultural environment

Specific Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent English written and oral skills, Korean is a plus.
  • Open to travel
  • Highly organised, detail oriented, patient, and result driven.
  • Have a “can do” attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines, excellent time management.

About the company

Northvolt was founded in 2016 with the mission to build the world’s greenest battery cell, with a minimal carbon footprint and the highest ambitions for recycling, to enable the European transition to renewable energy. Northvolt’s team of experts is building the next generation battery cell factory focused on process innovation, scale and vertical integration. Once completed, it will be Europe’s largest battery cell factory and produce 32 GWh worth of capacity annually.
