Role: Enterprise Sales Manager, APAC Enterprise Sales

Position Overview:

As an Enterprise Sales Manager, you will be driving our highest value growth opportunities and increase our client portfolio across Southeast Asia primarily, as part of our core APAC Enterprise Sales team.

Majority of our clients at Meltwater are on the SaaS subscription model, however for our top percentile of clients who have a greater need for customisation, Meltwater’s APAC Enterprise Sales is the dedicated team to consult and deliver curated solutions for their unique business needs.

APAC Enterprise Sales handles global sales opportunities, and with Singapore being home to many large companies’ headquarters, this candidate will be at the forefront of pushing out our global solutions sales to these commercial and enterprise accounts.

You will be an individual contributor, responsible for the entire sales process as you liaise with C-Level Executives and directly pitch Meltwater's software solutions to them. Meltwater is a service that can value-add to businesses regardless of size or industry, and you will be pitching to organizations at an enterprise level, building upon your business acumen with every step of the way.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Meltwater’s revenue growth through consultative sales to new & existing enterprise level clients across Southeast Asia primarily, as part of our core APAC Enterprise Sales team
  • Business-to-Business (B2B) sales role where you will be responsible for the entire sales process and directly pitch Meltwater's software solutions to potential clients
  • Own the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation and prospecting, to product demonstrations, negotiations and execution of closing strategies, to the final stage of bringing new clients onboard
  • Gain traction and build a sales pipeline comprising of global companies’ headquarters situated in Southeast Asia – e.g. large government bodies, agencies, firms which sell data analytics solutions, etc
  • Grow our current key client base into enterprise level solutions through upsells and cross sells
  • Meet individual and team targets
  • Brand and introduce Meltwater's best in class media intelligence & social analytics software, data solution platforms and APIs
  • Develop strategic plans to realize business opportunities in alignment with company objectives and directives in the long-term
  • Educate and guide prospects through the buyer’s journey to help them understand how Meltwater can help drive their business goals and objectives through using our suite of products

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (in any discipline) with strong academic results
  • 6 - 10 years of B2B sales / business development experience in SaaS or tech companies
  • Familiarity with API sales, technical knowledge of APIs and data analytics
  • Working knowledge of data analytics platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • Must have a track record of successes and highlights in sales related achievements
  • Have exceptional consultative selling and closing skills – we are looking for a top performer with a high frequency in sales
  • A genuine interest in, and an aptitude for understanding how SaaS products and solutions solve business problems
  • You can achieve your quotas, but we are looking for someone who wants to knock it out the park consistently
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with strong communication, collaboration, negotiation and executive presentation skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong business acumen, a passion for technology, you should be a regular consumer of the news/ media
  • Possess a great attitude and will be a positive contribution to team culture, self-confident and focused on achieving your goals
  • Must be organized, ethical, responsible, & self-motivated
  • Eligible to work in Singapore
