Key Account Manager / Account Business Developer (all genders) - full-time / part-time - Stuttgart

Skills & Requirements

As a Key Account Manager, you’ll work alongside some of the world’s best consultants and professionals across software engineering, design, agile culture and digital business. With your commercial mindset and commitment to building close customer relationships, you’ll deliver outstanding impact and long-term value for our clients. You will work to become the most important trusted advisory for your clients.

These could be some of your responsibilities

• You develop one of the biggest existing accounts of Futurice in mobility and automotive by proactively initiating, finding and winning new and exciting projects within the client.
• You lead the efforts of extending the strategic engagements with the client and positioning Futurice as a more strategic partner.
• You do proactive business and account development work, mainly for one existing key client
• You oversee projects and are responsible for the health of the account and the project team. The team is your biggest asset.
• You might also work as a project lead for agile development, advisory or design work assignments. When there’s an opportunity, you’ll enjoy getting involved as a hands-on consultant yourself.

We work with leading international corporations across all sectors, including mobility, health, financial services, insurance, energy, logistics, manufacturing and publishing. We help them to find new ways to change, prosper and succeed in a rapidly changing business environment.

Here are some of the things we’d expect of a strong candidate:

• Several years of experience in the German market
• Committed, long-term and human approach to business and account development as well as management
• Passion for networking and relationship building
• Direct experience in the innovation or tech business world
• Some actual consultancy experience within tech/data/design
• Collaborative approach with sales, marketing and the wider office
• A healthy drive to build our business from existing accounts
• Ability to manage the pitching process
• An understanding of client briefings and how to qualify opportunities
• A learning mindset

Some nice-to-haves:

• German language skills would be very helpful
• Experience within the automotive/mobility industry or equivalent
• Experience in senior stakeholder management
• Understanding of the tech landscape and what it takes to build digital platforms, products and services for demanding clients
• Experience in leading projects, either as a project lead/scrum master or as a product owner

One Nice-to-have would be excellent. Two would blow our minds. Three may bring us to tears. Your superpower is not on the list? Surprise and convince us!
