As a Solution Architect, you are typically engaged in project pre-studies (Discovery), pre-sales, and in consulting assignments. You play an important role in gathering and documenting technical and business requirements. As the owner of the technology stack and architecture, you work across our full platform offering and can design the architecture for smaller and larger multi-platform implementations, for example, Magento and Product Information Management (PIM) or Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
You work closely with platform-specific Subject Matter experts (developers, Business Consultants, Business Analysts, System Architects) who own the platform-specific technical solutions, where your responsibility is to make sure that all platforms, integrations and data models are working across the architecture. Depending on your background, you might be a Subject Matter expert yourself.
Besides working closely with the Vaimo US core team, you will also be a part of our global Solution Architect team under our Strategy & Consulting department. The team is responsible for Vaimo best practices on documentation, solution design and solution architecture.
Support the Sales Team in pre-sales meetings, project qualifications and RFI/RFP responses
Qualify project Discovery processes in conjunction with PMO, Sales and E-commerce Consultants
Lead Technical Discovery processes and support other Discovery tracks (eg UX, Strategy, PIM)
Design project architecture and deliver detailed documentation based on Discovery processes to outline a proposed solution to clients as well as providing high-level estimations and assessed complexity, clarity and risk factors
Articulate the architectural vision to clients, sponsors and stakeholders
Review existing clients systems and advise on improvements
Support teams through the development process - e.g. reworking architecture when needed
Continuously improve best practices for Discovery documentation, design and solution architecture
Skills & Requirements
3+ years of experience with eCommerce
Experience with e-commerce platform implementation on agency or client-side
Architectural understanding of Magento and AEM or PIM (Inriver/Akeneo)
Strong presentation & communication skills
Partner system insights and understanding
Organized with attention to details
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent English communication skills
Excellent Spanish language skills
Experience from Marketing Automation, Email Marketing, Personalization & Search
