The focus of your role
We’re looking for Aerospace Stress or Fatigue Engineers to employ in Hamburg, Bremen or Munich area within our global business unit Physical Analysis.
In this role you will build with us the added value we’re proud to offer to our clients. You will need an ability to work to short deadlines and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
What you’ll do?
Calculations of lightweight structures for the purpose of proof of strength, durability and provide design solutions, especially primary structures in aircraft construction
Performing sizing, optimization and substantiation analysis of aircraft components
Application of analytical calculation methods (handbook methods and customer-specific methods) and the finite-element-method
Calculation of metallic components and fiber composite components
Calculation regarding static strength, stability and non-linearities, Fatigue and Damage Tolerance
Creation and review of technical reports
Evaluation of calculation processes and methods as well as suggestions for improvement
Automation of calculation processes (design and verification of execution)
Direct exchange with the design department
