To support our growth in the BELUX region we are seeking a Sales Manager with a specific focus to drive net new clients in the region. This means being able to sell Magento, Akeneo, Adobe Experience Manager and consulting projects into new clients to help our growth ambitions. As an expert in selling complex solutions into medium to large enterprises you will be responsible for driving sales, leading the pitch team, RFP responses, contract negotiations and working horizontally and vertically within organisations to close business.

What we are looking for ?

The successful candidate is a sales manager with experience in selling software solution consulting, SI builds and you have an understanding of consulting services. Your abilities include relationship building through consultative sales and you can prove that in previous jobs you’ve created success in similar roles. You have the business and IT professional insight to provide clients with valuable input on their e-commerce challenges and opportunities.

We look for people who are as comfortable running a workshop with the CxO or their technical teams to help build their vision into a reality for the future growth of the company; to spending long hours formulating detailed RfP responses with our subject matter experts; to negotiating contracts for complex solutions. You need to be comfortable closing deals ranging from €150k to over €1mm in contract value.

Key Responsibilities

Together with a team of experts you think about solid solutions for our Commerce clients and focus on the following areas :

  • Execute on the territory sales strategy by :
    • Driving outbound leads in coordination with marketing
    • Managing your inbound lead queue and qualify leads
    • Conduct customer meetings and workshops
    • Answer requests and lead the RFI / RFP processes
    • Project manage large sales processes
    • Managing the entire quotation process
    • Attend corporate events, conferences and exhibitions as required
  • Work with solution consultants to translate the requirements from the client into solutions by attending workshops, working with clients to understand and translate their business requirements into reality
  • Share your knowledge about advanced solutions with other colleagues

Skills & Requirements
  • Based in Belgium. We have offices in Genk and Eindhoven but you are empowered to work remotely and are expected to be in the field

  • Flemish/French is a requirement as is professional level english (english is the corporate language)

  • Proven success selling professional services, including significant technology projects (ideally commerce services) and custom software solutions to C-level clients (£150k - £1M+ deals).

  • Must be self-starting, independent, exceptional prospecting skills and driven to close deals.

  • Well versed with formal sales methodologies and able to adapt to the needs of a specific opportunity

  • Able to confidently engage with prospects and third parties across all areas and levels of their business
  • Ability to work at pace and respond quickly to new and emerging opportunities
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of the digital commerce space.
  • Well developed negotiation and closing skills.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, communicative, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Outstanding problem solving ability.
  • Must be able to travel within territory and, occasionally across EMEA
