Regional Field Marketer

Meltwater’s Field Marketers work at the intersection of Marketing and Sales. You will be responsible for carrying out different marketing initiatives within a specific region. For example, creating and managing digital campaigns (email, landing page, social media), hosting local client-only events, coordinating regional trade shows, organizing local giveaways, a. There is a large focus on event production and execution, so experience in this is a plus.

Field Marketers are responsible for maintaining constant communication between Sales and Marketing. This could include making sure that local sales representatives are informed about upcoming events and educating team members on how—and where to find—marketing collateral that could help them in their sales process.

Field Marketers also work directly with customers for the creation of case studies and other marketing collateral.

The Field Marketing Manager East would be one of three in the Americas region and would oversee Meltwater’s Eastern Sales region, which stretches from Washington, D.C. to Miami, and includes our LatAm operations. Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and Spanish is a requirement for this role.

Tasks of the Field Marketing Manager, East include:

  • Traveling to regional cities for event production
  • Overseeing translations for English language campaigns and collateral into Spanish and Portuguese
  • Creating email campaigns
  • Tracking, analyzing, and optimizing programs and campaigns. Communication with local sales leaderships so they are in sync with upcoming marketing activities and, vice versa, making sure that their needs are met
  • Working social media channels to both do outreach for events, and/or follow-up after a campaign, in collaboration with our Social Media team
  • Planning and executing all logistics for regional events, including: trade shows, customer and prospect events in Miami, Atlanta, Boston, and Washington, D.C.
  • Creating content and offers for email programs and landing pages as part of regional campaigns, in collaboration with the Demand Generation and Content Marketing teams. This could be regional specials, event invites, or email campaign offers.
  • Contacting customers about participation in webinars, case studies, or blogs, and creating the first draft of the content collected (survey, brochures, case study)
  • Executing client gifting campaigns, such as seasonal gifts and cards
  • Customer referral program execution
  • Assisting with customer proposals and EBRs if needed
  • Printed marketing materials and swag for regional office and event needs
  • Support various other marketing projects as needed

Skills & Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to handle event management from campaign creation to logistics and onsite production
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple programs and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Ability to be flexible and execute quickly
  • Willingness to learn and dive into new tools and tasks as needed
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and Spanish
  • 3+ years of related marketing experience, ideally in field marketing or event production
  • Ability to travel, as needed
  • Proven experience carrying out marketing efforts, including planning, prioritizing, and implementing the strategy
  • Fluent in written and oral business Spanish, Portuguese a plus
  • Experience partnering with an enterprise sales team is a plus
  • Prior Saas sales B2B experience, a plus
  • Marketo certified, a plus
