Bonnier Books UK is looking for a smart and proactive editor to join its non-fiction publishing team. The editor will work across four imprints – Blink, Lagom, 535 and Manilla Press.
This is an incredible opportunity to become part of a fast-moving, friendly, and successful publishing team. Bonnier Books UK publishes a range of non-fiction books from household names like Lily Allen, Jenson Button, Paul Whitehouse, Bob Mortimer and Professor Steve Peters; to bestsellers like The Mountbattens by Andrew Lownie and upcoming climate change book The Future We Choose by Christiana Figueres and Tom Rivett-Carnac.
The successful applicant will need a keen eye for detail both for editing proofs and identifying new trends in the market. The editor will need to be confident taking manuscripts from acquisition to publication and beyond as well as working closely with other members of the editorial team to develop new projects. The editor will be experienced in liaising directly with authors and agents, as well as other departments in-house, enjoy crafting the perfect copy and be a passionate champion for their books.

Skills and experience
2–3 years of publishing experience in an editorial role, confident managing the following tasks:
Editing, collating and proofing manuscripts
Liaising with both authors and agents
Confident communication skills, especially when working with various internal teams and external stakeholders
Working with a team of passionate, talented people
