Your role

As a Adobe Commerce Solution Architect you will be responsible for designing solutions, from traditional AEM implementations to defining integration architecture between different services; being eCommerce, CRM, PIM or any other on-prem/cloud-based product or custom build solution. You will be leading a diverse team that is running several AEM engagements at different clients. You will be in forefront at the customer, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders, functional analysts and technical leads of the implementation team.

In a nutshell :

  • Where you have the ability to drive and lead a technical roadmap of the platform

Your Profile

We are looking for people that have experience with content centric application development. That are able to run AEM implementations from design, configuration to deployment. That are able to understand and translate business requirements into a solution design. That are able to communicate clearly to all stakeholders in a project; from the nitty-gritty technical details to developers, to high-level conceptual discussions with business.

  • You have deep knowledge of Adobe Commerce and able to design solutions on and with it
  • Your are able to lead a team
  • You can communicate on the right levels

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6+ years experience with Adobe Commerce (2.x) of which minimum 2 years with 2.4.x
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience In leading and driving technical teams
  • Experience in solution design on Adobe Commerce
    • deep understanding of its architecture, both head-on and headless configurations
    • design for multi brand, multi country, multi scenario setups
    • how to integrate with external systems like PIM, ERP, OMS, CRM
    • how to optimize for performance
    • how to design with security in mind
  • Handson experience with
    • storefront configuration
    • catalog & product model customization
    • stock management
    • checkout customization
    • pricing rules
  • Technical skills:
    • PHP, Xdebug, MySQL, Elastic Search, Magento CLI, Git
    • Commitment to code quality and best practices
  • Soft skills:
    • Leading technical teams including task delegation and performance
    • Clear communication which is adapted at the right level of the target audience
    • Team player, proactive, eager to learn
    • You think in solutions as oppose to only challenges
  • Languages: NL or FR + strong knowledge of EN

Nice to have:

  • Adobe Commerce accreditations or certifications
  • Affinity with front-end development (JS, Typescript, React)
  • Adobe Commerce cloud (managed services) and Devops practices
