Job Description

Product Information Management (PIM) is a set of business practices and a
category of business applications focused on managing product information for
use across an organization from the supply chain to commerce to customers.

A PIM solution provides a single place to collect, manage, and enrich your
product information, create product catalogs, and distribute information to
your sales and eCommerce channels. With PIM, marketers can dramatically
improve product data quality, accuracy, and completeness while simplifying
and accelerating product catalog management. As a result, enterprises who use
a PIM solution can more easily and rapidly create and deliver the compelling
product experiences needed to drive good customer experiences, reach more
markets, improve sales conversion rates, and take advantage of new sales

The role of the Business Consultant is to consult with the client on their product information needs, to add knowledge and best practices to the proposed solution, and to implement the configuration, data migration, testing and training of the end users of our clients.

Reports to a Project Manager operationally.


  • Leading the PIM discovery stage as a PIM expert
  • Preparing the discovery reports according to the Project Manager requirements
  • Validating the scope, estimations, acceptance criteria
  • In a project responsible for the data model design and process workflow being set up
  • Responsible to provide the trainings to the Project Manager’s, client users and internal Vaimo users
  • PIM documentation creation, user manuals creation
  • Change requests reviews, supporting the Project Manager and Account Manager on a negotiations with the client about the scope and estimations if needed
  • Helping to create an internal and external PIM content
  • Taking a part in a general PIM consultancy processes and standards creation/update
  • Responsible for aligning Country Unit PIM when technical meetings needed with the client.
Skills & Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification (B.Com or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of:
    Product Catalogs
    Product Merchandising
    Data preparation and take-on
    Integration concepts
  • Experience in the retail industry will be advantageous
