As part of our business transformation we are now strengthening our digitalization capabilities and are looking for an IT Service Manager for MS Azure. As IT Service Manager you execute and deliver on agreed road maps in tight relationship with our Vendors and manage the day to day service delivery to ensure a cost effective and robust Service Delivery that adds value to the Business.

Main activities:

  • Develop our Vendor contracts and have a continuous tight relationship with the Vendor(s)
    • Optimize the Service Delivery – Challenge ways of delivery, continuously improve
    • Partnership – Build trust and engagement with Vendor(s) account team
    • Business knowledge – Ensure the Vendor(s) understands Scandic’s business model to be able to optimize Service values
    • Follow up on Contract fulfillment and other objectives
  • Responsible to execute and deliver on agreed road maps, both short and long term
  • Tight and clear Collaboration with other Scandic IT Service Managers, IT Service Specialists, SDM’s and other internal stakeholders to ensure efficient Service Delivery
  • Efficient Incident Management, Request Fulfillment and minimizing recurring incidents through Problem Management
  • Keeping the Service documentation up to date
    • Service Catalogue
    • Knowledge base articles and Support scripts
    • Self service at Service Portal
    • Service Delivery Models
  • Project resource in Service related projects
  • Strategic Technical skills to ensure long term optimization in applicable Service are to enable and support Scandic’s long term Digital agenda
  • IT Service Financial follow up
  • Change & Release Administration.

Skills & Requirements

Experiences you bring and share with us:

  • At least 5 years’ experience from similar work
  • Broad knowledge in and understanding of services provided through Microsoft Azure
  • Experience in ITIL in general and Incident/Problem Management and Request Fulfilment in particular
  • Ability to turn strategy into action and translate business demands into user friendly solutions utilizing cloud technologies
  • Ability to build strong relationships and an inclusive, collaborative solution oriented work environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to present data and recommendations in an organized and logical manner to all levels of an organization.
  • Integrity and ability to build trust with senior management
  • High level of learnability and adaptable to agile ways of working.
  • Can-do-approach and positive team player
  • Preferably an university degree, preferably within IT
  • Solid English and Swedish skills, spoken and written
