Basware is looking for a Marketing Business Partner for its InvoiceReady business unit to help drive growth in Finland and internationally. The person will be in charge of InvoiceReady marketing strategy, building and executing annual marketing plan. The person will be reporting directly into General Manager of the business unit.

InvoiceReady is focused on serving Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs). It has a large and loyal customer base and attractive opportunity to further grow the business. InvoiceReady is a separate business unit within Basware which enables it to operate in an agile manner while leveraging the benefits and synergies of being part of large and recognized global Procure-to-Pay (P2P) leader. It’s an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, entrepreneurial and highly experienced team and meaningfully contribute to growing the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Boost visibility, presence and recognition of InvoiceReady in the market to drive demand

  • Develop compelling messaging and positioning for SMB market

  • Create marketing and sales enablement assets (in Finnish and English)

  • Build annual marketing plan and ensure execution against agreed-upon objectives

  • Work in collaboration with global marketing organization

  • Ensure sufficient pipeline value and coverage against the targets in the market

  • Own and run the lead management and creation process, to ensure constant lead flow and high lead quality

  • Initiate and organize marketing events to generate new business and engage with customers

  • Work with external agencies

Skills & Requirements

The ideal candidate has a broad set of marketing skills and has a vision and drive to execute on high impact marketing plans. The ideal candidate is positive, hands on, and open minded to jump on opportunities and go above and beyond his or her comfort zone. We would enjoy working with a professional who is/has:

  • Digitally savvy, modern marketer, with 4-5 years of relevant marketing experience

  • Comfortable with pipeline management and driving demand supported by marketing automation and CRM – knowledge of MS Dynamics, Hubspot, Marketo or similar is an advantage

  • Experience in B2B marketing in Finland, preferably in a SaaS environment and in the SMB segment

  • Prepared to bring new ideas & thinking, high energy, proactive, and resourceful

  • Strong both in project management and planning, as well as execution

  • Customer and sales oriented

  • Excellent communications skills. Fluent in English and Finnish, written and spoken

  • Thrives in a fast-moving, constantly-changing business atmosphere of professionals

  • A good team player with a proactive, can do attitude

  • Reliability to deliver on time and target

  • A multitasker, who enjoys a healthy business pace and is not pressured by a full workload
