MAIN OBJECTIVES WITHIN THE SPECIFIC ROLE

You will together with a newly formed management team - manage the overall operational, financial responsibilities and activities of the department. The team consists of another Backoffice manager, and a RMA manager. Your team will have employees in different locations and countries. You and the team will report to the Head of Backoffice & RMA.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

You will have international responsability and it is important to have good English communication as well as a Scandinavian language , planning, prioritization & organization skills.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITY WITHIN THE SPECIFIC ROLE

  • Provide oversight and direction for the employees
  • Build and motivate a high performing team
  • Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
  • Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals. Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback.
  • Work with Human Resources staff to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ an appropriate number of employees.
  • Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization's and that emphasizes the identified mission, vision, guiding principles, and values of the organization.
  • Plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet departmental productivity and quality goals.
  • Establish and maintain relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor the operation of the department.

Skills & Requirements

MAIN REQUIREMENTS WITHIN THE SPECIFIC ROLE

  • Knowledge and experience in business, supervision, and management.
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a department and department staff members.
  • Excellent organizational management skills.
