Do you have around 2 years’ experience of purchasing within IT and/or Telecom? Would you like to be more involved, have more responsibility and the ability to influence? Are you looking for a slim organization where you quickly can see the results of your work? Do you see yourself as a fast learner with a optimistic can-do attitude? Scandic is now looking for an IT Sourcing Manager to the headquarters in Stockholm!

Scandic has a slim IT Organization with a lot of outsourced services, so there are many suppliers to handle within several categories. As IT Sourcing Manager you will thereby work broad within sourcing, all from print, wifi, software & systems, “workplace as a service” to more complex sourcing projects. Overall there is a big focus on digitalization and automation at Scandic. Initially you will get responsibility for a couple of activities to drive and specific suppliers to manage. Example of tasks:

  • Selection of suppliers, consolidation of suppliers & developing relationships with strategic suppliers (in close collaboration with internal stakeholders on IT, such as Vendor Managers).
  • Contract design.
  • Cost calculations & market analysis of suppliers for different categories - ensuring the highest quality at the lowest cost.
  • Close cooperation with internal stakeholders to ensure that purchased materials/services/products meet the needs.
  • Drive improvements regarding the Sourcing Process.
  • Escalate problems regarding delivery, quality and/or invoicing.
  • Vendor Management implemented.

You will report to Head of IT Procurement at Scandic.

Skills & Requirements

You have a couple of years’ experience of purchasing within IT and/or Telecom. You are used to lead whole processes regarding sourcing; from cost calculations, supplier meetings, negotiation to standardized contract designs. This you combine with an academic education, fluent knowledge in Swedish and English as well as experience of Microsoft's tools; Teams, Excel (Pivot tables / Graphs), Word and Powerpoint.

As a person you are self-propelled with a ”can-do attitude”– you are a fast learner and easily understand how things are related in a context. You are driven, responsible and have an interest in learning. Further, you are analytical and communicative - collaborating & building relationships comes naturally for you.
