The Claes Isacson Scholarship
Against the background of Claes Isacson’s engagement in and commitment to the shipping and marine insurance industries during his entire working life, and his particular focus on internal education and training through the establishment of the Gard Academy, the intention is that the scholarship shall help young people to finance an education at university level with a view to finding work within the shipping and marine insurance sectors.
The Claes Isacson Scholarship is awarded annually and amounts to USD 20,000 which may be awarded to one student or split between several students.
The application deadline is 1 April 2020.

Terms and conditions
The Scholarship will be awarded in two tranches. The first tranche will be paid into a nominated bank account upon verification of enrolment in the awardee’s chosen course, and the second and final tranche will be paid into the same account at the start of the awardee’s second semester. To retain eligibility for the Scholarship, we will require that the awardee adhere to the following terms and conditions:
