Product Manager – Loans & Savings

We target both leading online merchants and millions of Nordic consumers seeking superior digital payments and consumer finance products.

We are looking for a Product Manager to join the Consumer Product team with responsibility for our Loans and Savings products. Our Loan offering is a key fundament in our offering towards consumers. The product was launched in late 2017, and we have seen steady growth with a total Loan book of +500mSEK. We want you who is eager to take on the challenge of taking the product to the next level.

Within the Product Manager role for Loans, you will also take on the ownership of our Savings account (deposit product). Today we offer two different deposit accounts with market-leading interest rates. We believe we have untapped potential in our savings offering and that this product will play a vital part of the strategy in making Qliro into a true Digital Banking Platform.

What you will do:

  • Be responsible for driving and developing our value proposition for Loans & Savings
  • Be the primary point of contact internally regarding all product-related matters for Loans & Savings
  • In line with the overall company strategy set and drive the product strategy for Loans & Savings
  • Together with our engineering teams, Product Manager for App & Web ensure that the Loans and Savings products evolve in accordance to the product strategy and customer feedback
  • Continuously challenge standards for how things are working, to find improvements and strive to make things better for our customers
  • Act as the “voice of the customer” by maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog to ensure that the development team is working on stories that maximize business value and deliver necessary fixes and functionality to the end-users
  • Responsible for driving initiatives and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to reach sales and profitability targets for the product
  • Responsible for analyzing and understanding market and competitor trends, customer behavior, etc.
  • Responsible for creating business cases to calculate the expected outcome of more substantial changes in the service or more significant new features
  • Ensure satisfactory product compliance and that product-related processes are being documented
  • Lead risk assessment, business continuity, and recovery plan initiatives for the product together with relevant functions

Skills & Requirements

We believe you:

  • Have experience of financial service, management consulting or similar
  • Have experience from working with loans within a financial institution
  • Have experience from work with a deposit product
  • Have an interest in technology, follow the latest industry trends, and you are used to working closely with development teams on a daily basis
  • Are a motivated individual with product development and product ownership experience
  • Are experienced in leading cross-functional teams without formal reporting lines
  • Are a natural problem solver with “do-er” mentality, eye for details, and obsession with quality and structure
  • Are proficient in English, written and spoken alike, a Nordic language is a plus
  • Experience from agile development
  • May have experience from working with loans and/or savings in Finland, Norway or Denmark; it’s only seen as a merit
