HRBP is responsible for core People processes such as Leadership development, Change management, Performance management, Recruitment, Talent Planning, Employee Engagement and Organizational design to drive business outcomes for the Group functions. HRBP will also be accountable for collaborating with other Group HR Functions and HR professionals in the countries to deliver a great experience for all employees in Scandic.

General responsibilities:

  • Represent HR in the management teams and ensure alignment between business and People agenda
  • Actively ensure that established People processes and activities are implemented and followed up on according to plan and governance model
  • Support leaders to strive for excellence in change management
  • Coach and challenge leaders in daily people issues
  • Actively work with and contribute to continuous improvements of leadership
  • Work closely and proactively with labour unions and manage union negotiations
  • Together with HR peers, manage the ongoing development of People processes based on customer needs

Specific functional responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development of the Group wide agenda for Employee Relations
  • Responsible for the the European Works Council and agenda to ensure an effective trans-national consultation process
  • Strategic coordination of policy aspects of Employer Relations and collective bargaining agreements

Skills & Requirements

Experiences you bring and share with us

  • Previous experience from supporting management teams
  • Experience from coaching, supporting and challenging leaders in both operational and strategic plans and ability to think conceptually and strategically in various parts and levels within the organization
  • A broad understanding of the role within an evolving and changing business
  • Ability to apply a Scandic perspective to the role and work in a matrix organisation.
  • Previous experience of core People processes
  • Experience from project management
  • Experience of facilitating discussions with senior professionals
  • Ability to work in agile ways
  • Track record in successful management of employee relations in a multi-national environment, with awareness of evolving employment legislation and practice in the Nordic countries.
