GoPlanet is a KTH startup that improves sustainability of travels of big companies and individuals. Our mobile app enables users to track their sustainability performance (including plastic usage, carbon emission, food waste, support of local economy, and culture) during a travel, visualize them, compare them to others, and enjoy deals and coupons on sustainable products. Users can also participate in simple and fun challenges to become more sustainable and responsible traveler, and get tangible measures of collective impacts of these simple contributions to the planet and human culture. For businesses, GoPlanet enables inter-department challenges to engage employees in making a better sustainability figure of the company.
GoPlanet was established in the summer of 2019. We have received a VFT fund through KTH Innovation and Vinnova and funding from Almi to enhance our UX. We have started to develop our prototype, and we plan to have our MVP by July 2020.
The GoPlanet team consists of two data scientists, a software expert, and a designer. We believe that our team has the core competence to develop the technology. We look an ambitious and collaborative individual business developer. We are enthusiastic about new ideas that this person can bring to our table. We believe with the right knowledge and expertise, we can develop GoPlanet and make a real positive impact to a sustainable planet.

GoPlanet is a recently formed startup at KTH that focuses on sustainable tourism. We provide a service for travelers to log their footprints in their travels and encourage users to take part in challenges designed to shape better habits. We have started to develop our service and we are planning to prepare our MVP design by beginning of 2020.
Our mission is to create awareness in travelers and we envision to become the main platform to log sustainability measures and run challenges to promote sustainable travelers.
