PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Smart Eye provides facial identification (or driver identification) as part of its offerings in the automotive market segment. Clients require that spoofing detection – detection whether the presented face is “live” or “fake” – is included in the identification offering. This requirement is the basis for the master project.

The purpose of the project is to study different methods – hardware and/or software solutions – which may be suitable for integration in the Smart Eye system. Furthermore, the project includes the implementation and evaluation of a chosen method for anti-spoofing.

Skills & Requirements

Required qualifications

  • University level of engineering mathematics, Physics, Electro, Computer Science; a good understanding of linear algebra (vector and matrix calculations).
  • Programming skills; script programming, preferably Python, but any relevant software programming experience is sufficient.
  • Machine learning and AI
  • Image processing
  • Experience from working in Unix/Linux environments
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
