The Sourcing Manager IT is responsible for executing sourcing activities according to Scandic strategic sourcing process. You will lead the development & execution of the Group IT sourcing strategies that deliver a competitive advantage and cost-efficiency to add value to the business in line with IT strategy. This means leading the work within a multi-source environment including supplier selection, supplier consolidation together with relevant stakeholders to ensure sourcing optimization and overall supplier performance. You will also develop the relation with Strategic suppliers through a Vendor Management Process together with other stakeholders.

Main activities

  • Develop cost surveys, supplier market analysis, etc. for various categories and groups, in order to communicate the current and potential future purchase situation to purchasing organization
  • Drive and be responsible for price benchmarks
  • Contract management and negotiations
  • Leading sourcing execution for assigned commodity(s) or suppliers
  • Performing detailed spend and cost analysis to ensure highest quality at the lowest cost solution
  • Partnering with key business stakeholders to ensure sourced material and services meet the needs of the business
  • Driving improvements in sourcing processes including escalations due to delivery/quality issues and invoicing/payables issues.

Skills & Requirements

Experiences you bring and share with us

  • Relevant and broad experience of IT and Telecom business
  • Bachelor’s or Masters degree with relevant work experience in strategic sourcing or other equal relevant background
  • Speak and write Local language and English fluently
  • Good knowledge in using Microsoft tools such as Excel (pivot tables, graphs etc), Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience of project management
  • Experience of work with standard legal template
  • Strong analytical and negotiating skills with the ability to manage and develop supplier relationships
  • Ability to energize, develop and build teams at all levels within the organization
  • Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitment
  • Good commercial understanding
  • Self-motivated, driven and takes responsibility with a “can-do” attitude
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
