Haglöfs AB is now recruiting an assistant store manager to Haglöfs Outlet at Hede Fashion Outlet in Kungsbacka, Sweden.

As an assistant store manager you will play an important part in contributing to Haglöfs’ continued success, as the face outward to our customers. High product knowledge, social skills and structure is essential for this role.

Main responsibilities and tasks

The role has the responsibility for the daily work in the store. Inspiring, guide and help customers by providing excellent service; on the sales floor, in fitting rooms and at the cash register. The role also has the responsibility to support the Store Manager with her/his duties whenever needed and in case of the Store Manager’s absence take the full responsibility as Store Manager during the period.

  • Providing excellent customer service building on own knowledge and understanding of Haglöfs products
  • Follow Haglöfs guidelines for retail sales
  • Keep up to date and informed about products and store routines
  • Handling incoming products and making sure the store looks attractive
  • Staying fully informed about all campaigns and sales activities
  • Follow Haglöfs news in different channels
  • Follow and align with Haglöfs principles (Curiosity, Reliable and Proud)
  • Prepare and participate in evening events, at least 3-4 times a year

Store Managers duties and responsibilities whenever needed:

  • Responsible for managing the store according to Haglöfs guidelines and principles
  • Monitoring and follow up the store budget
  • Lead the team and ensure good cooperation and teamwork between staff members
  • Responsible for environment, health and safety issues in the store
  • In charge of scheduling and planning
  • Responsible for the inventory

Skills & Requirements


We are looking for a person who aspires to develop within retail. To be successful in this role you should have/be:

  • 3-5 years experience as store sales representative, preferably within outdoor
  • Ability to lead teams and to drive sales
  • Understanding of the flow of goods and inventory management
  • Computer skills
  • English language skills
  • Understanding of Outdoor
  • Strong sense of responsibility
  • Sense of order, well organized
  • We consider previous experience in the outdoor industry to be meriting.
