Job Description

xNomad is a marketplace for popup stores that connects brands with unique retail & vacant pop up spaces.

There are at least 20.000 vacant spaces in Stockholm right now and we are looking to create popup experiences in all of them.

We've been working with innovative and exciting brands such as Voi, Yaytrade, thepinkco, Skin City, Hansboot and Rossignol.

We are part of the STING accelerator and are Antler alumni. We have raised two rounds of capital and are currently in a stage of rapid growth.

We are looking for a Head of Operations to make up part of this team.

General description and duties:

  • Researching and contacting on-trend Nordic and international brands and agencies to create awareness of xNomad’s Pop Up spaces and services available to them
  • Formulate business strategy with others in the executive team
  • Design policies that align with overall strategy
  • Implement efficient processes and standards
  • Coordinate customer service operations and find ways to ensure customer retention
  • Ensure compliance with local and international laws (e.g. data protection)
  • Oversee the implementation of technology solutions throughout the organization
  • Manage contracts and relations with customers, vendors, partners and other stakeholders
  • Evaluate risk and lead quality assurance efforts
  • Oversee expenses and budgeting to help the organization optimize costs and benefits
  • Mentor and motivate teams to achieve productivity and engagement
  • Report on operational performance and suggest improvements
Skills & Requirements

We expect the ideal candidates to be:

  • BSc/MSc in Business, Engineering, Computer Science
  • Proficient in online research using a variety of tools such as MS Office, G Suite, and Hubspot
  • Capable and confident speaking to venture capitalists, large brands, agencies, and top-notch property owners
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
  • Experience in fundraising will be a plus
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Have the ability to juggle a number of projects

We will be recruiting on a rolling basis. Interviews will consist of a two-step process where you get to meet the founders and the team. You will also meet with Antler and Sting.

We connect brands and entrepreneurs with under-utilised retail space to rent for a short-term period to create a pop-up store experience.
