Job Description

  • Defining, developing and deploying quality assurance initiatives throughout entire project lifecycle, including development, enhancements or maintenance
  • Collaborate in a cross-function delivery team to ensure that all aspects of quality are actively discussed and addressed during the delivery process
  • Provide mentorship to new employees on compliance, automation or planning
  • Work with Sales and Marketing on pre-sales efforts and client-related requests for information
  • Operate as a Test Lead for a client and provide primary communication and planning for clients on all testing activities as defined
  • Provide input to the Head of Engineering & Head of Delivery for all QAE related activities and dependencies on designated team
  • Perform training on QAE methodologies and other areas of expertise
  • Assist Executive management with business initiatives
  • Drive discussions and collaboration between QAE teams and other departments as directed
  • Engage and encourage team members on QAE activities and company initiatives
  • Actively work to meet customer expectations
  • Perform 1 on 1’s and goal setting with assigned team members
  • Promote and Act according to Accedo’s core values
  • Ensure adequate resource allocations for QAE Services including recruitment
  • Organize team meetings and work to perform knowledge sharing and other info
  • Mentor Lead-level personnel where needed
  • Lead fullcycle performance management for assigned team

Skills & Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle
  • 3+ years professional experience in streaming apps or technology
  • 3+ years professional experience of most major technologies, OS’s and networking
  • Professional experience using SDLC methodologies (Scrum, Agile, Waterfall)
  • Scrum Master Certification is an Asset
  • Ability to think analytically
  • Advanced customer-facing skills
  • Expert written and verbal communication skills.
  • General knowledge of Automated testing
  • 4+ years of experience as a client facing Project Lead QAE in a services company
  • Self-motivated, passionate, responsible
  • Excellent knowledge of work distribution
  • Professional knowledge of Services industry with a focus on QAE
  • Team size of 5+ direct QAE/Senior QAE/Leads
