We have established two business hubs in South Africa where we drive expansion across the continent. From Cape Town, we are looking for an Account Executive for Strategic Partnerships to guide our growth and that of our clients in this changing landscape.

The Role:

The Account Executives’ main responsibility is to “land & expand” business across the African continent.

That is achieved by:

  • Building positive, long-lasting relationships with C-level executives to meet evolving needs and requirements
  • Driving clients knowledge of and outlook on AI, big data and the possibilities within Industry 4.0
  • Working across a portfolio of 100 companies from all industry verticals that show largest spend and growth potential on the continent
  • Collaborating with the EMEA marketing team to implement account-based targeting strategies
  • Long-term business focus through quarterly growth KPI’s

Skills & Requirements

Skills and Requirements:

  • University degree with strong academic results (any discipline)
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales or account management experience (SaaS Sales preferred) with a proven track record of success - we want people who are goal-oriented and not afraid to challenge the norm
  • Keen interest in business on an African and international level
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills: we are looking for someone who is clear, concise and can read a room
  • The Account Executive is comfortable negotiating with and presenting to C-Suite
  • Agility, ownership and accountability: the Account Executive is able to work independently and within a team
  • B2B sales experience applicable to East and West African markets is advantageous
  • Fluent in English and other African business languages (French, Portuguese, Swahili etc.) is advantageous
  • South African residency or South African work permit
