Job Description:

  • Applications monitoring, maintenance and support.
  • Incident Management, Problem Management and resolution
  • Change & Release coordination and support
  • Defect fix deployments and support
  • Installation and configuration of applications, software packages.
  • Advise on risks and suggest corrective actions.
  • Vendor coordination
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem diagnose capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and as well with team
  • Runbook preparation, Environment request management, Release notes, etc.
  • Application Support Build and Deployment and DevOps automation tools
  • Delight clients with our delivery and continuous improvements on delivery process, quality and productivity.
  • Work with the project leads to build capability plans in line with upcoming requirements.
  • Work closely with customer management to understand the business requirement
    for the projects developing effective working relationships and ongoing management processes for the project
  • Flexible to work in Shifts

Skills & Requirements

Skills and Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years hands on experience in maintenance and support of critical financial applications in Production environments on Premise
  • Hands on experience in Linux & Windows OS support, troubleshooting and administration
  • Hands on experience and knowledge in ITIL processes - Incident management, Problem Management, Change & Release management
  • Strong Knowledge & experience in Application and web servers such as JBOSS, Apache and WebSphere support
  • Strong Scripting experience in any of 2 - Shell Scripting, Perl, Python and Ruby
  • Knowledge of Networking concepts, Storage, Database and Infrastructure is preferred
  • Knowledge and experience on tools like Atlassian JIRA, confluence, HP ALM, Nexus, Jenkins, GoCD, ELK, Nagios, Selenium, Chef/puppet/Ansible etc.
  • Knowledge and exposure in DevOps latest trend tools
  • Knowledge of Cloud platform support, AWS, Azure is an added advantage
  • Should have good communication and interpersonal skills along with good documentation and writing skills
