Product Owner Integration Platform

We are looking for a Product Owner to join our E-Tech Integration team, supporting all Schibsted companies with integration services.

The E-Tech Integration team works mainly towards Schibsted companies in Norway and Sweden connecting services and business solutions. Our systems are critical to the daily operation of Schibsted companies. We are working on local systems for Scandinavian countries, as well as global systems for more than 8000 employees. You will be joining a team and an organization that is in a transition from being a local team to become a global ICC that provides global integration services across the enterprise.

What you will do:

  • Own the backlog for the Integration team
  • Bridge the communication gap between the development team and its stakeholders including the Integration Service Manager

  • Facilitate backlog refinement workshops with the Integration team, customer and Service Manager

  • Define actionable and fully described requirements/user stories/tasks for the team

  • Ensure each requirement/user story/task has been estimated (time/cost)

  • Prioritize the Integration team backlog in accordance to the Service Manager roadmap

  • Provide plan/prognosis for delivery based on team velocity to customers, Service Managers and management

  • Close collaboration with the Integration Architect in order to secure architectural compliance according to ICC strategies at all time
  • Run planning workshops at the start of each Kanban/Scrum sprint with the team to decide upon focused and prioritized work
  • Active participation in team demos and retrospectives

Our requirements:

  • Passionate about agile methodologies and stakeholder management
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to engage both stakeholders and team
  • Certified Agile Product Owner with previous strong experience from this role in an Integration setup
  • Previous experience from an Enterprise Service Bus and API management platforms
  • Solid background from developing integrations in large scale and high performance environments
  • Strong interest in both the business and tech side of requirements
  • Experience in Integration development using MuleSoft or similar integration platforms is a plus
  • Your tool of choice is Jira, all day every day

  • Fluent in Norwegian and English
