Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Customer Service Control Tower Manager to join our brand new Service & Aftermarket team in Stockholm. You will be given the opportunity to join our Battery Systems department, focused on developing li-ion modules & packs for traction and grid storage. You will also get to be a part of building the first European large-scale li-ion battery factory and enabling the future of energy!

The main responsibilities for this role will be to:

  • Set the scope and design of the Customer Service Control Towers functionalities, this includes to plan, organize, manage, monitor and evaluate the related activities.
  • Ensure that the Customer Service Control tower is designed according to established software programming design standards and application and customer orientation standards.
  • Prototype and iterate on core functions and content.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Define and monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with them.
  • Implement and manage security, integrity and backup procedures.
  • Test and modify systems to ensure that that they operate reliably.
  • Liaise with all other IT service functions to make sure that services are maintained.

Skills & Requirements


  • MSc Degree within relevant field or comparable work experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience within system design and/or system management.
  • Proven results in system design and management.

Specific Skills/Abilities

  • Have the ability to learn proprietary tools quickly and are able to work within a complex asset development pipeline.
  • Are knowledgeable about quality management, risk management, security and management of system development and operations.
  • Are able to set standards, monitor and ensure compliance.
  • Have strong analytical and synthesis skills and up to date with new technology
