Northvolt’s mission is to build the world’s greenest battery with a minimal carbon footprint and the highest ambitions for recycling, to enable the European transition to renewable energy.

To start with, Northvolt is setting up a Recycling pilot plant in Västerås to develop and fine-tune the battery recycling process before establishing this process in large scale.

We are now looking for an experienced Project Manager, who will be responsible for managing and coordinating the delivery of the Recycling pilot plant, ensuring facility, process utilities and manufacturing equipment is delivered on time and according to budget. Furthermore, the Project Manager will be in charge of developing an operations plan for the plant, covering the pilot test plan as well as staff and material requirements.

Initially the Recycling pilot plant will be set up in a temporary facility, however, this will likely evolve to a permanent Recycling R&D Lab being built from scratch at or near our NV Labs site, i.e. our battery manufacturing pilot plant in Västerås. Your role as Project Manager may well expand into also managing the design-, construction-, equipment installation & commissioning phases for the permanent Recycling R&D Lab.

The profile we are looking for is strongly goal oriented, curious and eager to learn. You will get the chance to have a real impact on Northvolt’s success story in Sweden (to start with) and see the direct results of your work. Our organization requires and values great self-discipline and a natural talent to make things happen. The Project Manager Recycling Pilot is a vital member of the Environmental team and key to Northvolt's mission to enable the future of energy.
