Bonnier Books UK is looking for an operations assistant to join the team in London. This newly created role involves working closely with teams across the business to support the operations and royalties departments.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

  • Track and analyse royalty statements.
  • Work closely with the operations and royalties departments to improve processes and communicate with the wider company.
  • Analyse data, maintain databases and produce operations reports.
  • Batch post sub-rights income.
  • Audit and maintain data from internal product database (Biblio).
  • Close liaison with the finance department and other teams within the business.
  • Ad-hoc operations tasks as required.

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Working knowledge of Excel.
  • Basic understanding of the publishing industry is beneficial, but a background in publishing is not required.
  • Confident written and oral communication skills.
  • Analytical and numerical skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Able to independently prioritise work to meet deadlines.
  • Organised, self-motivated and comfortable working in a dynamic creative environment.
  • Able to work well within a team.
  • Willing to be pro-active in improving internal processes and communication.
  • Experience working with Biblio is beneficial but not required. Training with the necessary software will be provided.
