Solution Seeker is working on the world’s first AI for production optimization, turning data into value and insight for our users. We love our work and are fierce believers in the potential of our team and our technology. We are a scale-up, and thus the listed positions are relatively open. We are looking for talented individuals that can contribute to our team in a variety of ways.

As a data analyst you will be digging into and working with our data, being involved with the most important challenges we face technically and strategically. Your tasks will include analyzing large amounts of production data and solving real challenges for clients, preparing and holding insightful presentations internally and externally, and/ or getting involved in strategic considerations like go-to-market-plan, positioning and delivery model. This is a unique opportunity to combine technical and business skills in a growing scale-up on the verge of internationalization.

The position as data analyst is open to both recent graduates and more experienced individuals with a few years of work experience. The position is a great way to enter the company and the perfect stepping-stone to figure out if you want to develop in a more technical, business-oriented or managerial role.

About the company

Would you like to work for a deeptech-scaleup that is bringing AI to the oil and gas industry? Are you curious about machine learning and how it can innovate existing workflows? Would you like to build the next generation software for optimizing production?

As Solution Seekers we are obviously open and curious people, always seeking to find the best solutions to the obstacles we take on. Often that means challenging the status-quo, a skill we have honed over the years in a conservative industry. It also means staying true to our vision and niche, in order to be truly world-class in the domains that we have chosen to operate in. But above all else, being a Seeker means being devoted to our team and colleagues, truly backing each other in order to deliver on what we have promised and committed to. All while managing to have lots of fun on the way!

2007Research into optimization of O&G production systems on top of existing simulators. Work was primarily done as part of a large research program at NTNU called the IO Center.

2013Solution Seeker was spun-out of the IO Center to further develop and commercialize the promising findings from the previous research.

2014We obtained our first industrial partners ConocoPhillips and Neptune Energy.

2018Five clients are on board and Solution Seeker technology is getting more and more mature. The company is expanding and getting ready for larger scale commercialization and internationalization.

2019We moved into new, beautiful offices in the center of Oslo, with plenty of space to grow. Client list is expanding and we have landed our first international contracts. Three new colleagues have joined our team so far in 2019.
