The Code Institute Marketing & Events Specialist for the Nordics will be responsible for activating the local community. Code Institute is an exciting opportunity for those working in tech or for a software company who wants to be part of the Ed-Tech transition. Your main responsibilities:

  • Manage the monthly Nordic event plans for corporate, B2C, community and IAC
  • Identify local employers, recruiters and students participating at our events.
  • Secure keynote speaker spots for the MD and CEO at industry events
  • Manage the Nordic event budget and reporting each month.
  • Create localised content for social media and blogs
  • Manage PR plan with our Nordic agency and head office in Dublin
  • Coordinate local student meet-up and hack-a-thons
  • Research market growth opportunities in the following area's universities & colleges, local municipalities & government and enterprise, and assist in the development of campaigns thereafter.
  • Monitor and own a monthly competitor analysis survey.

Skills & Requirements

  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possess strong organisational & administrative skills
  • Be proficient in the use of computers and have a good knowledge of G-suite
  • Be a smart, professional, customer services orientated and an enthusiastic individual
  • Highly productive with strong attention to detail and excellent time management
  • Have the ability to work as part of a team but also on your own initiative
  • Ability to adapt to changes in a fast-moving environment
  • Fluent in Nordic language(s) & English
