We are looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to join our Learning & Development team here in Scandinavia. The role is based in Denmark with the responsibility for the L&D process in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, but with a strong link to our European Learning and Development function.

Primary areas of responsibility:

  • Working closely with various stakeholders across the organisation and having a full understanding of their teams, business area and training requirements
  • Be able to identify the appropriate channel and approach that delivers the required process and/or behaviour change, be able to use a blended learning approach that meets the needs of a range of levels and learner-styles
  • Able to complete a thorough and accurate Training Needs Analyses to identify specific business needs and documenting this accurately
  • Provide a high standard of quality in both the design, delivery and implementation of training solutions with an innovative and effective approach
  • Be able to demonstrate the improvements in performance through results post implementation of your learning solution as well as supporting the increase in organisational satisfaction from all employees through investment in career/personal development
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding and align your work to both the learning and organisational strategies
  • Regularly review and critique your own learning programmes/initiatives to ensure they maximise development and are aligned to the current business priorities

Skills & Requirements

Our Ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of the full training and development cycle including developing leadership and coaching individuals
  • Able to support within sales training with existing sales trainers
  • Experience in adopting a consultative approach and effectively project managing as a learning expert to the business, when required
  • The ability to effectively and proactively identify development needs
  • The drive to proactively seek to develop themselves in line with the most current effective learning methods
  • The ability to create an environment, which enables our people to take ownership for their own development
  • An agile and resilient approach and be comfortable with ambiguity
  • Experience in a sales driven organisation (is desirable)
  • Experience in design of virtual learning solutions
  • Is able to calculate the costings of effective programs in line with budgets and clearly demonstrate ROI
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an effective Learning & Development professional with ability to understand, communicate and to present in both 'Scandinavian’ and English language

There may be scope to cover a national or possibly global remit so regular travel may be required as part of this role.

We are looking for a person who have an outgoing and action-oriented personal style who are able to translate organisational needs into concrete training activities.

You demonstrate strong communication skills and are able to influence and develop strong relationships in all levels of management and act professional in your approach with your colleagues whether located in Denmark, Norway or Sweden.

You are a team player and is focused on how to deliver the best training and development task together with the remaining training team. Even though we would like a team player you should also be able to work independently and take decision on your own as well as flexibility is a must to be successful in the role.
