Cyber Security Project Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Primarily responsible is to engage various clients and help them in governing and managing drive security projects
  • Co-ordination with various teams for conducting & Managing SOC, VA, PT.
  • Co-ordinate, review and ensure appropriate approval of written information security responses to external stakeholder requests for information
  • Implement and operate processes to monitor the effectiveness of the cyber security control environment.
  • Review information risk assessments on processes and procedures and recommend appropriate risk management measures
  • Lead on the maintenance of external compliance requirements (GDPR, NIS) by overseeing the collection of evidence, its validation and submission of attestations to appropriate bodies
  • Provide guidance to internal project delivery team to assist in the development of policies ensuring that SLC address any legal, regulatory or compliance security requirements
  • Act as the point of contact for engagement.
  • Review compliance audits of processes, transactions, systems and data quality against information assurance and other relevant standards and support the compilation of recommendations for remedial actions.
  • Oversee & govern the effective operation of procedures and quality assurance.
  • Advise and influence the project stakeholders CISO to take effective risk management decisions, balancing perceived risk against business benefit and seeking a suitable compromise position.
  • Provide input and support to the development of the cyber security practice

Skills & Requirements

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor/Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications or another related technical degree (Relevant certs are an advantage, e.g. ITIL, PMP, Prince2, ISO27k LA/LI, (ISC)2 CISSP, ISACA CISM/CISA/CRISC, SANS GIAC).
  • 5+ years Security project management experience
  • Excellent knowledge of IT Security framework.
  • In-depth knowledge of system development life cycle, security standards (ISO27k, OWASP, NIST, SANS etc.), system hardening, network security
