Northvolt has an exciting job offer for an Environmental permitting coordinator with experience of permit processes in the EU to join our passionate team. We want you to be fluent in English, and optionally in German or Swedish. In joining us you will play an important part in Northvolt’s role in the transformation to a carbon free society.
The Environmental permitting coordinator will be responsible for driving new permitting processes in Europe, including site-selection for new facilities. Amongst your tasks will be to communicate with municipalities, authorities, environmental consultants, lawyers, and the public. You will be responsible for scheduling, planning and writing some parts of applications, as well as making sure that the applications for permits are submitted on time.
You will be working intimately with other teams to complete technical descriptions for permit applications and with other sustainability related issues. Our aim is to leverage on the green factory ambition as we grow the company.
As a future leader in the company you will have the opportunity to form a competent and dependable project team from scratch, capable to scale Northvolt’s operations in Europe. You will be working together with and reporting to the Environmental Director.
In general, you have experience in driving large, innovative and challenging environmental permitting projects in the EU, with high demands on sustainability from employers, customers and other stakeholders.
