At Qvik, we produce functional and desirable digital solutions with years of experience. Along the years, we’ve grown to be a team of approx. 80 developers, designers and support professionals. In 2019, we founded Qvik’s Swedish subsidiary and are now we’re looking for Senior Backend Developers or Cloud Architects to join our crew in Sweden!
Our Stockholm office is located at the Epicenter Stockholm. How we work at Qvik
The daily work of our backend developers consists of designing and building infrastructures, microservices and scalable backends. So real, heavy, hands-on programming. That’s what we do. Being consultants and experts in our field, we also consult our customers on the best technologies and solutions, usually already in the sales phase of the project. But the main part of the work is being a developer, working closely with the customer.
We’ll provide you with tools and opportunities to develop your skills further, as well as the freedom to come up with your own ways to create infra. You will also have the opportunity to create your own development path as a professional. Our coaching process supports you if you want to be a backend-developer-turned-into-a-cloud-architect, or, e.g. get more heavily into data science. No matter what your position in our backend team would be when you arrive at Qvik, you can be sure that there are a lot of development possibilities available.

Skills & Requirements
Who you are
- You have 5+ years of experience in IT development.
- You’re a senior level backend master and want to keep your hands on the keyboard in the future.
- You know your way around the essentials such as Java, Scala and its frameworks. Knowledge of other functional languages could be a plus.
- You have previous experience or architect certification in Google Cloud Platform or AWS cloud solutions.
Nice to have
- A deep understanding of network design, serverless design patterns, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), microservices, cloud-native architecture designs and managed services.
- Experience of working as a consultant. You can deeply understand the needs of a customer and be a good team player.
- Seniority in leading projects, mastering agile methodologies, and passion for solving multi-faceted tech problems are a definite plus
- Great communication skills, conversational Swedish is a plus.

Qvik was founded in 2008 by three friends, university students at the time. They had a vision of making functional and edgy mobile applications better than anyone. And that they did.
Specialised in mobile, we have delivered meaningful digital experiences for tens of millions of end users. As an example, we’ve enabled our customer St1 to bring Apple Pay to Sweden and Finland by building St1 Finance’s mobile app and infrastructure as well as the Apple Pay integration.
