About Account Executive

You will help customers understand the value and power of our media intelligence solution and develop new and lasting relationships in a variety of accounts within the mid size to large enterprises segments. You will be essential in helping us set, drive, and execute on our revenue goals and ultimately bring us closer to our vision of making Meltwater the default solution for companies’ media intelligence needs. Also as a key member of our growing Sales organization, you’ll play a critical role in Meltwater Greater China growth and upmarket trajectory.

What you will be doing?

  • Ownership of the full sales cycle from lead to close
  • Establish lasting relationships with senior executives and decision-makers in a variety of accounts within the midsize to large enterprises segments
  • Foster new relationships for Meltwater through outbound efforts
  • Help educate customers on the value of our Media Intelligence and Social Analytics platforms and handle objections
  • Navigate key decision makers to build Meltwater awareness within organizations
  • Initiate, negotiate, and close new contracts with customers
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas including product

Skills & Requirements

We would love to see…

  • 3-5 years of quota carring experience (eg.Renewals, Sales, Account Management) in a rapidly growing company, preferably in a SaaS organization
  • Experience managing quota and delivering forecasts
  • Excellent communication skills both with customers and within an organization
  • Proven negotiation and closing skills
  • Strong track record of navigating within large and mid-market organizations
  • Experience in the “C” suite, strong executive presence and polish, and excellent listening skills.
  • A team player that will thrive in our fluid, fast-paced, dynamic, scaling environment
  • A highly motivated and results-driven self-starter
  • Ability to operate with a sense of urgency and values accountability
  • Willing to be travel (on a need basis) to different locations globally
  • Bachelor's degree; MBA a plus or equivalent experience
