Aftenposten is developing quality journalism and news-products to give valuable insights to our subscribers by creating a more knowledge-based social-debate and strengthen our democracy. In the last years Aftenposten had a powerful digital growth, and today we have a base of 110.000 pure digital subscribers. To increase this number, our products need to give even better news experience, and you will have an essential role in improving them.
We are looking for a UX Designer with genuine interest and enthusiasm for working with news and technology. We require you to be a team collaborator with good communication skills and ambition in your own professional growth.
What will you do:
As a UX designer in Aftenposten, you will be working with a diverse and highly qualified team in shaping the news experience for all Schibsted publishers. Our team consists of 3 developers, Product Manager, Data Insight, and UX Lead. We are adding four members to the team before the summer.
About the job:
As a Designer, you will also be part of a larger UX community within Schibsted, with the possibility of working across hundreds of interesting projects across various brands, products, and services. In total, we’re more than 40 designers and researchers working in teams across 10 different locations.
Through the UX community, you are offered UX events and sparring partners that will push you to get better at what you do, and through the Schibsted Learning Lab, you will get access to internal training and development programs. Your manager will make sure to follow up on your personal career development through regular 1:1s and development talks.
