Your Role

Are you a mechanical or process engineer driven by a passion for cutting-edge manufacturing technologies, prototyping, and continuous improvement ? Do you want to play a key role in developing and optimizing high-quality manufacturing solutions, ranging from conventional CNC machining to Additive Manufacturing at the heart of an advanced production environment ?

As a Process Engineer – New Manufacturing Technologies, you will join a dedicated team of operators, designers, and engineers. You will take full ownership of the end-to-end process lifecycle: from scouting new technologies and benchmarking machinery to installation, commissioning, process optimization, and quality assurance.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

• Operational Excellence: Ensure our dedicated prototyping and finishing shop runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely.
• Technical Support: Support machine operators and fellow engineers with technical challenges while actively driving continuous process improvements.
• Advanced Manufacturing: Work with both conventional production methods (milling, turning, grinding) and innovative techniques such as Additive Manufacturing (3D printing in metal/plastics).
• Digital Integration: Manage machine selection, CAD/CAM software integration, and data acquisition systems to shorten lead times and maximize quality.

• Education: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Electromechanics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of manufacturing processes (conventional machining and/or Additive Manufacturing) and quality management principles.
• Software: Familiarity with CAD/CAM software suites and data acquisition systems.
• Languages: Fluent communication skills in English and Dutch (spoken and written); knowledge of German is a plus.
• Mindset: Hands-on, creative, and critical thinker with a 'can-do' attitude, always seeking smarter ways to optimize processes.
• Soft Skills: An independent worker who is accurate, organized, and a dependable team player with a strong cost-conscious and innovative mindset.
