Job Description

In F-Secure Consumer Cybersecurity Unit, we develop, improve and maintain an array of products that serve the home user. To know more about these products, you may visit our website. Within this unit, we have the Desktops Domain which is responsible for SAFE, KEY and Freedome for the Windows and Mac platforms.

As a Junior Quality Engineer in the Desktops Domain, you are expected to have basic Python skillset as well as willingness to learn test automation. You are also expected to be flexible in working with both the Windows and Mac platforms.

The Role Includes the following Responsibilities:

  • Design test cases and implement those against the product's functionalities.
  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts and perform peer reviews.
  • Perform both manual and automated testing of the product.
  • Help coordinate product releases across functions.

Skills & Requirements

To succeed in this role, you need to have:

  • Basic Python Programming skills
  • Basic knowledge of software testing
  • Flexibility in working with both Windows and Mac
  • End to End thinking
  • Some knowledge of virtualization technologies.
  • Good command of English
  • A team player

You would need to also be open-minded and always think of ways on how to do things better.

This position is in Helsinki, Finland. A security background check will be conducted for the selected candidate, in accordance with the Finnish Security Clearance act 726/2014.
