Main goal

As a key member of the venue logistics (VLOG) team, the Venue Logistics Assistant is responsible for planning and delivering high‑quality logistics services for UEFA EURO 2028 as well as selected UEFA finals. The role supports a broad range of operational services across competition venues and the international broadcast centre (IBC), including office and furniture set‑up, coordination of internal fencing requirements, cleaning services, office supplies, staff break stations, staff transport and other staff‑service functions.

Key responsibilities

Service delivery for club competition finals and Nations League finals

  • Acting as the venue logistics manager on-site for assigned UEFA finals, overseeing the planning, implementation, operation and dismantling of all venue logistics services
  • Leading the planning and coordination of venue logistics services for assigned UEFA finals, working closely with project teams, venues, suppliers and other stakeholders to define requirements and delivery plans
  • Developing and managing venue logistics concepts and operational plans, including offices, workspaces, furniture, fencing, storage and staff facilities
  • Coordinating suppliers, stadium representatives and volunteers to ensure all venue logistics services are delivered in line with project requirements, timelines and budgets
  • Managing budgets, procurement and reporting activities, and contributing to project reviews and debriefs

Service delivery for UEFA Men’s EURO 2028

  • Supporting the planning and implementation of venue logistics services across the nine venues and the IBC
  • Supporting the recruitment and selection of venue logistics staff, including candidate screening, interview coordination and documentation management
  • Coordinating onboarding activities with internal stakeholders to ensure staff are set up and ready to perform their roles
  • Coordinating training programmes for venue logistics managers, including logistics, scheduling and participant management
  • Supporting the development, maintenance and delivery of training materials, guidance and operational support
  • Supporting the planning and coordination of back-of-house furniture requirements across venues
  • Monitoring supplier delivery and timelines, providing on-site support and issue resolution where required
  • Supporting venue logistics projects, including office planning, vehicle coordination, accreditation requirements and budget management
  • Contributing to catering, transport and parking operations, as well as project reporting and debrief activities

Skills & Requirements

Requirements

Experience:

  • Studies in project management, international business, event management or sports management would be an advantage

Education:

  • From 1 to 3 years’ professional experience in event coordination, covering both pre‑event planning and on‑site operational delivery, ideally within a multicultural environment
  • Previous experience in sporting events would be an asset

Languages:

  • Fluent in English

Other requirements:

- Relocation to Switzerland/France is expected

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
